Ice Skating in the Village

Spring Lake Park provides open skating from dawn to dusk – when the ice thickness is appropriate. Skaters should be aware that it takes at least six inches of ice before it is safe to skate on the lake. (Keep in mind that the lake is 14 feet deep in some spots). Signs will be posted on the beach end of the lake advising users when it is safe to skate. Watch for signs at the park indicating that it is open for skating or check for information on Cable Channel 10.

IHSA Semi Final Football Playoff tickets will be on sale in the Athletic Office.  Hours to buy tickets are Tuesday-Thursday 8-12 and 1-4 and Friday 8-12.  Tickets are $6.00 and no passes will be accepted at the door.  Gates will open at 5:30 pm at LZHS Stadium.    Shuttle busses will be available from satelite parking areas.  Tailgating with grills or alcohol is not permitted at LZHS games/property.
